About
Hello, I'm Kevin Brown. I'm a software architect and engineer based in London, Canada, specializing in bringing structure to complex domains.
My background spans nearly a decade running a software consultancy for hands-on, owner-operated businesses — stepping into situations where a system had broken, a key person had left, or requirements simply didn't exist yet, and building something that held up under real commercial pressure. More recently, I've spent six years as a Solutions Architect in fintech, serving as the technical bridge between sales, client, and engineering teams for Tier-1 banks — the person brought in when a stalled or ambiguous engagement needs to be unstuck.
I have a Masters in Software Engineering from Western University, and I write about software and our industry which you can find here.
